Overview
Join CanAtom Power Group, a dynamic joint venture between AtkinsRéalis and Aecon, delivering critical nuclear engineering projects for Ontario Power Generation. As a Project Manager, Tooling, you will play a key role within the Pickering RFBR team, leading the lifecycle of engineered tooling that supports major refurbishment projects.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, vendors, and project stakeholders, you will contribute directly to the safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery of innovative tooling solutions that power the future of nuclear energy.
Your Role
- Lead the execution of engineered tooling projects, ensuring alignment with safety, schedule, cost, and quality objectives
- Manage the full tooling lifecycle including design, procurement, fabrication, testing, refurbishment, and readiness
- Coordinate with vendors, client stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful tooling delivery
- Foster strong collaborative relationships and promote a ONE TEAM culture across all partners
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in tooling processes and project delivery
- Monitor and report on project cost and schedule performance in collaboration with project controls
- Oversee tooling resources within a matrix Engineering, Procurement, and Construction environment
About You
- Ability to lead and motivate high-performing technical teams in a project-driven environment
- Proficiency in nuclear project management, including estimating, scheduling, and cost control
- Aptitude for managing complex stakeholder relationships and communicating effectively
- Ability to analyze issues, assess impact, and implement effective solutions
- Proficiency in engineered tooling concepts, with strong knowledge of nuclear systems and processes
