Site Services Projects Lead (Permanent)

In this role, you’ll help bring complex mining and civil projects to life by coordinating planning, design, budgeting, surveying, and construction activities. Responsibilities include:
· Provide planning, coordination, and construction management support for Site Services projects
· Communicate project status updates clearly and regularly to stakeholders
· Complete the development of project Scope of Work for services and materials and work with Supply Chain Group in the development and administration of contracts
· Prepare Budget Proposals, Project Charters, and Project funding requests
· Data management related to equipment operation, mill feed, and record keeping of mine statistics
· Assist/produce departmental monthly and annual reports
· Prepare and coordinate design/change controls of assigned projects
· Review the continuing applicability of departmental quality procedures and work instructions, develop new or modify existing whenever necessary.
· Develop applicable presentation material and facilitate safe work plans with for all non-routine Site Services project work
· Fully proficient in all data management and engineering design programs(AutoCAD C3D, Trimble Software)
· Conduct topographic surveys, construction layouts, survey data and AutoCAD drawings updates
· Perform engineering calculations for miscellaneous projects independently

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
· Diploma or Degree in Mine/Civil Engineering and/or equivalent education and experience
· At least 5 years experience in open pit mining or heavy civil projects with project coordination experience
· Proficient in operation of GPS surveying equipment and AutoCAD Civil3D
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Project, etc.) and SAP Plant Maintenance Module
· Experience with contract development is considered an asset
· Experience with Surpac software is considered an asset
· Cost estimating experience and good knowledge of accounting fundamentals is an asset
· Candidate must be highly versatile and able to handle multiple projects and manage time effectively
· Must have project management experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with demonstrated analytical and problem solving abilities
· Able to work independently
Work Location & Schedule:
· McClean Lake
· 14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule
· Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required

Salary Range:
$90,500-$106,500
Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Wednesdays
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.
As a condition of employment the successful candidate must complete Orano’s pre-employment checks including education verification and employment reference checks.
