Position and Responsibilities
As a member of the maintenance department, you will repair, modify, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and install instrumentation equipment such as, control devices for electronic instruments, control valves, analysers, lab equipment, pneumatics, HVAC systems and servers. You will install new equipment as per industry standards and project design packages that includes wiring, tubing, conduit and instrument/control devices.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Instrumentation Technician/Technologist diploma
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant industrial instrumentation experience
- PLC and SCADA programing training/experience
- Working knowledge of server, network, switches, routers and hubs
- Ability to read electrical/instrumentation drawings and prints
- Ability to work within established procedures and safe work practices
- Ability to work in a team environment
Assets:
- Interprovincial Journeyman Industrial Electrician
- SAP knowledge
- Interprovincial Red Seal
- SCADA/HMI, Adroit experience
- Allen Bradly PLC and RSLogix
