Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.
The Role
Key Lake operation is looking for a motivated, team-oriented professional who values integrity, safety and the environment and strives to incorporate those values into their everyday achievements.
Reporting into the Sr. Planner, Maintenance, you will provide oversight for all maintenance and operations-related contactor activities and ensure that they adhere to the standardized contractor management programs.
In this role, you will:
- Assist in the creation of contract packages
- Arrange logistics to bring contractors to site
- Act as the site contact for contractors
- Provide support with respect to documentation control
- Manage and report on budget and schedule Act as the primary site liaison between Cameco Corporation and various contractors
Required:
- Journeyperson certificate or an engineering technologist diploma
- Minimum of six years of relevant work experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, prioritizing and organizational skills
- Able to work with minimal direction within a multi-functional team
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Certification in project management or construction management
- Previous SAP experience
