Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.
The Role
You will be responsible for the daily coordination and operation of the Key Lake warehouse facilities on your shift to meet site requirements for materials receipt, storage, handling, inventory and retrieval. You will be required to develop and maintain successful relationships, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize warehouse operations and meet site requirements. In this leadership role you will establish a culture of operational excellence and uphold Cameco’s values.
In this role, you will:
- Supervise, coach, mentor and guide warehouse personnel
- Manage warehouse inventory with Sr Warehouse Supervision and Supply Chain
- Support other areas in the transportation of goods to/from site using SAP Search for opportunities for continuous improvement in the management of inventory
Required:
- Grade 12 or GED
- A minimum of eight years of warehouse experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- Previous supervisory experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience regarding inventory, material management processes and maintenance management systems
- Advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and an ERP system (SAP preferred)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan Supervisor certificate
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate
- First Aid
- WHMIS
- Radiation Protection (supervisor level)
- Knowledge of mining and OH&S regulations

The Key Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
