About Us

The Role
As a member of the corporate safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) department, you will provide support on radiation protection issues, including utilizing specialized tools, software and techniques to assist the sites in day-to-day operations and mitigation of potential hazards.
The successful candidate will work a term of approximately four months (May to August). This position is located in Saskatoon with frequent trips to the northern Saskatchewan sites.
In this role you will:
- Implement the radiation protection program and associated standards at the sites, including modifying or improving documentation, ensuring proper equipment use and consistency across the company
- Enter data in a database of worker and workplace radiation information
- Assist in the administration of radiation data
Required:
- You are entering your third of fourth year as a university student specializing in physics, engineering physics, or other physical sciences/engineering
- Field experience is an asset
