• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and MS Project is required. SAP/ERP and mining/modelling software (Leapfrog, GEMS,
Vulcan etc.) is an asset.
- Exceptional communication skills to relay information to various stakeholders and executive leaders and effectively
convey performance expectations ensuring accountability for results cross team members.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing daily tasks and longer-term activities against deadlines, safety requirements and
quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and build solid working relationships with peers, co-workers, employees,
contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and assigned.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be willing to travel to and work on remote sites with varying frequencies and
durations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the development of NI 43-101 compliant technical studies, ranging from Concept to Feasibility, which serve as a
critical basis for decision-making related to the Company's development initiatives.
- Serve as the Company’s primary liaison with external groups such as consultants and contractors for the purposes of field
programs and desktop studies.
- Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of field programs, desktop studies, and assessments, offering
guidance on both conventional and ISR growth projects and sustainable optimization initiatives, with a focus on safety, while
acting as project manager or sponsor, as necessary.
- Collaborate and work effectively with internal departments including but not limited to Environment, Safety, HR, Accounting,
Procurement, Investor relations and other functional groups
- Collaborate with internal teams and executive leadership to deliver regular project updates to the Technical Committee of
the Board of Directors.
- Define and communicate the direction for Project Evaluation, establishing measurable objectives and goals for the Project
team, specialized contractors, and consultants.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and reporting processes; ensure adherence to established timelines by analyzing
schedules for deviations from the critical path, engaging in collaborative planning and execution, and fostering compliance
with company policies and effective communication.
- Ensure the effective management and coordination of project personnel and subcontractors to achieve safe, cost-effective,
and timely completion of project milestones.
- Motivate and lead high-performance teams by providing mentorship, coaching, and supervision to both internal employees
and external personnel assigned to the project.
- Promptly identify, report, and address any hazards, unsafe conditions, near misses, accidents, or incidents, while ensuring
that tasks and behaviors always reflect a commitment to physical and psychological safety for oneself and colleagues.
