About Us
Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. Utilities around the world rely on our nuclear fuel products to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco’s corporate office is based in Saskatoon. We have mining operations and projects in northern Saskatchewan, Kazakhstan, the United States and Australia. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.
The Role
Cameco is transforming digitally and has a multitude of interesting IT projects that require an experienced project manager.
In this role, you will:
- Need to work independent and proactively.
- Lead in project delivery, planning, management and control of project schedules, costs, and deliverables. Effectively keep management and stakeholders informed and up to date.
- Simultaneously lead (multiple) complex projects through the analysis, design, development, and implementation of information technologies at Cameco Corporation
- Provide reporting on project progress and performance as guided by BTS Project Portfolio reporting expectations.
This is an 18-month temporary staff position.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline
- Five to eight years of demonstrated project management experience in successfully delivering information technology projects
- Project Management Institute credential or similar
- Demonstrated history of successful implementation of complex, multi stakeholder, security sensitive projects
Recommended:
- Experience in managing projects following agile, hybrid and waterfall methodologies
- Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira and Microsoft Project
- Experience with managing multiple small/mid-sized IT projects

Salary Range: $95,000 - $118,000
