Material Management Administrator

The Material Management Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the availability of products, and optimizing inventory levels to meet project demands. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
This role will be based in Mississauga, ON.
Your role within the team:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the procurement and the project to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast requirements, and optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with purchasing to maintain adequate inventory.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies.
- Prioritize inventory requests based on schedule and demand.

The ideal candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent; education related to material management, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Specialist or in a similar role.
- Previous experience with inventory software roll-out is an asset but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with an inventory management system is preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
