Position and Responsibilities
As part of the stores team you will be responsible to receive and disperse stores material and maintain records of incoming materials and inventory pricing systems.
Responsibilities include;
- Gather and pack material kits, replenish point of use materials, load and unload shipments and deliveries for the site.
- Verify material quality and accuracy to order documents.
- Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
- Provide service to our internal customers and access materials management system information for site (ie. order due dates, material availability, specifications, etc.).
- Complete transactions to update SAP and inventory cycle counting.
- Additional tasks as required.
Education and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Grade 12 diploma
- Physically fit to perform assigned duties
- Ability to obtain TDG and lift truck operation certification.
- Computer skills to obtain material data and enter transactions.
- Knowledge of accounting practices relating to shipping, receiving and inventory control.
- General knowledge of maintenance parts and equipment.
- Valid “G” drivers license
- Clear background check
