About Us
Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
The Role
You will work with a team of tradespeople to proactively maintain equipment helping the site to operate safely and efficiently. As a team member, you will make data driven decisions, follow your processes and collaborate with others to make improvements as opportunities are identified.
In this role, you will:
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production.
- Install and maintain all measurement and control systems including DCS/PLC, flowmeters, pH transmitters, density gauges, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and online analyzers.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repairs.
Required:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Interprovincial red seal or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma
- Three to five years of directly related work experience in an industrial or mine environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Work a rotation schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Experience with Delta V DCS and/or Schneider PLC systems
- Experience with SAP
- Troubleshooting experience would be an asset
- Experience with various instrumentation programming and configuration software

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN).
The Key Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
