THE ROLE:
With direction from the Operational Readiness Lead, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for the initial set up and
implementation of the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) along with the development and
ongoing upkeep of maintenance master data. The Maintenance Planner will be a key contributor to the overall Maintenance
Program for the Wheeler River site with responsibility for pre-production operating asset maintenance planning followed by
responsibility for preventative and predictive maintenance of operating assets thereafter.
This role is being offered as a fulltime position initially based out of Denison’s regional office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with
intermittent travel to the remote project site located in the Athabasca Basin. As construction progresses, the role will require
more frequent travel to the project site, and transition to a fulltime site-based position once operations commence. To be

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
You are a maintenance professional experienced in planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities at an industrial
site. Having held roles of increasing and progressive responsibility and scope, you are experienced working within a defined
maintenance program with accountability for Maintenance Repair and Operational (MRO) master data. Accompanied by solid
communication and computer skills, you bring a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and highly developed
organizational skills. Additional qualifications and attributes include:
- Journeyperson certification in an industrial trade, or operator certification as a power engineer or refrigeration
engineer, or other relevant post-secondary education.
- Relevant experience working as a maintenance planner in mining, mineral processing, or other industrial facilities.
- Strong proficiency using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management
System (EAMS) such as SAP, Maximo or Oracle as well as Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.);
implementation skills an asset but not required.
- Demonstrated success in curating and managing MRO master data within a CMMS system.
- Experience with freeze plant maintenance and uranium mining and processing is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of proficiency in planning and scheduling is required.
- Excellent organizational skills and capability to effectively manage priorities while meeting timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on a broad range of activities and to develop plans to achieve long,
medium, and short-range objectives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage, influence, and build effective working relationships with
peers and co-workers.
- Superior written communication and oral presentation skills with a particular strength in dealing with a wide variety of
individuals at various levels within and outside of the organization.
