Contract Geologist (Core Logging)

THE ROLE:
Supporting the Exploration Team's initiatives to enhance Denison's portfolio of uranium projects and properties in the Northern
Athabasca Basin, Contract Geologists will primarily concentrate on core logging activities. Additional responsibilities will involve
collecting, interpreting, and modelling field and subsurface data to further the development of Denison's flagship Wheeler River
exploration claims, as well as other properties.
There are 2 fixed-term contract positions available with work commencing on or around January 15, 2025, and an expected
duration of approximately 4 months.
The successful candidates must be willing and able to regularly travel and work on a 2-week on/2-week off rotation at a remote
field camp in the Northern Athabasca Basin and will be responsible for arranging their own travel to a designated pick-up point
en-route from Denison’s warehouse in Saskatoon to the various field program sites. Denison offers competitive compensation
and shall provide board and lodging while at the Project site and all required PPE. To be considered for this role, applicants must

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Withstrong technical skills and progressive experience across all aspects of the mining life cycle, the Contract Geologist utilizes
direct exploration and development experience to provide field-based oversight of drilling operations. Reliable, highly
motivated, and safety oriented, the Contract Geologist brings to the role solid organizational skills, a strong sense of
responsibility and demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with others to achieve results. Additional qualifications and
attributes include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution is required.
- Ideal candidates should possess relevant work experience in mineral exploration or mining, with a preference for uranium
experience.
- Experience with GIS applications and 3D modelling packages (Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac, etc.) is preferred, along with office
productivity software, including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP, accompanied by a willingness to learn and use other
technologies and software as required.
- Proficient organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple
responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills that support safe, collaborative and inclusive relationships with peers and contractors within a
remote workplace environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate, persuade and influence others.
