Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.
Position and Responsibilities
This is a temporary 3-month contract. In this position you will be responsible for:
- Performing predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production.
- Performing welding work on structures and equipment to stated specifications.
- Troubleshooting structure and equipment failures and documenting and performing repairs.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Saskatchewan or inter-provincial journeyperson welder ticket.
- At least five years of industrial experience as a journeyperson.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
