About Us
Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role
Reporting to the Chief, Internal Audit Services and Corporate Ethics, you will be responsible for leading the ongoing development and delivery of the corporate ethics and privacy programs for Cameco. This includes providing consultation, support, advice, and guidance for corporate ethics and privacy activities across Cameco, in accordance with internal management documents, applicable legislation and regulations, and industry good practices. You will supervise a team of professionals and work with external service provider support, to lead corporate ethics and privacy audits, perform risk analysis, and conduct internal investigations. In addition, you will respond to investigations, escalated privacy breach investigations, and access to personal information requests as required.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce corporate ethics and privacy policies and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments for alleged activity and conduct investigations.
- Conduct audits to identify and address privacy and ethical vulnerabilities within the organization.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees at all levels. Track and report on Compliance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.
Required:
- Master's degree in relevant field (Business, Compliance, Human Resources, Audit, etc.)
- A minimum of 12 years of applicable work experience leading successful compliance programs and systems implementations in a large complex organization.
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Certified Information Privacy Professional and Certified Information Privacy Manager designations
Recommended:
- Certified Internal Auditor, Compliance and Ethics Professional and/or Fraud Examiner designations
- Law degree with experience in related compliance and privacy laws and regulations
- Experience working within a publicly traded company
