THE ROLE:
As a member of the Project Team, the Mechanical & Piping Lead operates under the guidance of the Construction Manager. This
role is accountable for ensuring constructible, safe, and cost-effective mechanical and piping designs and activities during the
engineering and procurement phases of the Wheeler River Project. During the construction phase, the individual in this position is
responsible for the safe and efficient organization and supervision of site activities related to the mechanical and piping components
of the project.

This is a fulltime opportunity and will initially be based out of our office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on a Monday-Friday schedule
with transition to a site based rotational role located at Wheeler River Site in Northern Saskatchewan. To be considered for this role,
applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.

Intermittent travel to the Wheeler River Project site located in the Athabasca Basin will be required initially, with increased
frequency and duration of travel to site as the project progresses. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging their
own travel to a designated pick-up point in proximity to Denison’s Saskatoon office to travel to the Project site, and Denison will
provide board and lodging while at the Project site, and all required PPE.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The Mechanical & Piping Lead possesses broad technical and supervisory experience acquired from progressively complex
construction projects and brings a solid track record of delivering results with a high attention to detail, motivation, and commitment
to quality outcomes. As an individual contributor the Mechanical & Piping Lead influences others to achieve results through
methodical planning, supervision and execution strategies, initiative-taking and collaborative communication tactics, and a strong
commitment to safe work practices that contribute to a highly effective and engaged workplace. Additional qualifications and
attributes include:

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant combination of education and professional experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical and piping design, installation, and commissioning within the industrial or

mining sectors; experience in uranium mining and processing is preferred.

A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license, or relevant Red Seal ticket is considered advantageous.
Prior experience in a role such as Superintendent, Supervisor, Field Engineer, or another field-based position with direct

responsibility for the coordination and execution of project activities and milestones is required.

Demonstrated familiarity with project lifecycles for large multidisciplinary capital projects including contracts & procurement,

construction, commissioning, project controls, health & safety, and community & environment.

Direct experience in the design of process piping, preparation of equipment datasheets and specifications is required, experience

with pipe stress analysis is considered an asset.

Knowledge of ASME, API, MSS, ASTM, NFPA, and CSA standards.

Solid problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to identify and evaluate alternatives and produce workable solutions,

accompanied by a strong quality orientation towards standards of workmanship.

Experienced in preparing and reviewing construction work packages including but not limited to: Piping systems installation and

testing; Mechanical systems installation and testing; Steel structures; Quality and completion systems; Codes and regulations
pertaining to safety, piping and mechanical systems.

Adept at reviewing, interpreting, organizing, and maintaining designs, data, technical specifications, blueprint drawings, and other

project-related documentation accurately and efficiently.

An uncompromising commitment to always working safely, and reporting and resolving hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.
Possession of a Drivers’ License that is valid and in good standing is required.
Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and assigned.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Exhibits a strong commitment to the safe implementation of all construction operations, ensuring the maintenance of a clean,

safe, and systematically organized work environment, ensuring all tasks are carried out by oneself or personnel in strict adherence
to health, safety, and environmental regulations and protocols.

Develops comprehensive plans for site mechanical and piping activities and the synchronization of contractors and personnel to

execute operations safely, adhere to project timelines, and ensure quality compliance with project specifications, plans, and
applicable building codes.

Addresses technical inquiries and non-conformance reports pertaining to mechanical and piping designs, including the execution

of walkdowns of construction as necessary.

Conducts comprehensive surveillance audits of critical mechanical and piping components and field inspections to ensure

adherence to design intent, implementing corrections where required.

Collaborates with and provides constructability support to the Project team to ensure Project development and delivery activities

achieve the scope, cost, schedule, quality, and value requirements.

Collaborates with the environment, health, safety, supply chain, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with established

company protocols and policies, applicable legislative and regulatory requirements, and licensing commitments.

Evaluates documentation pertaining to mechanical and piping contracts, including the contractor's project execution plan, quality

assurance plan, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and associated inspection records.

Communicates design modifications and field engineering alterations to construction and engineering teams; generates reports

as necessary regarding mechanical and piping progress and execution; reviews Contractor turnover documentation; and maintains
comprehensive records of approved deviations from design drawings or specifications.

Functions as an advisor and mentor to technical personnel regarding construction methodologies and the interpretation of

pertinent codes and standards related to construction, health and safety, and environmental protection.

Interprets building plans, regulations, and codes to guide the progress of work and ensure compliance with construction

documents.

Contributes to engineering solutions for site-related inquiries and facilitates the resolution of emerging issues, advising senior

management on potential problems, work interferences, and scheduling difficulties while assisting in conflict resolution.
