Field Geologist

THE ROLE:
Field Geologists works collaboratively with Denison’s Technical Services Team to support advancing our portfolio of uranium
projects in the Northern Athabasca Basin. The Field Geologists will be responsible for providing field-based technical support
to Denison’s 2025 field program, and includes collecting, interpreting, and modelling field and subsurface data.
There are
4 vacancies available for this
fixed-term contract as detailed below:
- 2 positions will commence on or around January 15, 2025, with an expected duration of approximately 8 months.
- 2 positions will start on or around March 1, 2025, with an anticipated term of approximately6 months.
The successful candidates must be willing and able to regularly travel and work on a 2-week on/2-week off rotation at a remote
field camp in the Northern Athabasca Basin and will be responsible for arranging their own travel to a designated pick-up point
en-route from Denison’s warehouse in Saskatoon to the various field program sites. Denison offers competitive compensation
and shall provide board and lodging while at the Project site and all required PPE.

work in accordance with Denison’s health and safety policies and procedures at all times. This role has been designated as a
safety-sensitive position and is therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing as part of the pre-employment screening process

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The Field Geologist bringsstrong technical skills and progressive experience in all aspects of the mining life cycle, with direct
experience related to exploration and development activities and hands-on experience overseeing drilling operations. As a
reliable, highly motivated, safety oriented, project-driven geologist, the Field Geologist has solid organizational skills, a strong
sense of responsibility and demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with others to achieve results. Additional qualifications
and attributes include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of applicable work experience in mineral exploration or mining, preferably uranium, is preferred.
- Experience with GIS applications and 3D modelling packages (Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac, etc.) is preferred, along with office
productivity software, including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP, accompanied by a willingness to learn and use other
technologies and software as required.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
efficiently and effectively.
