The Role
You will be responsible for day-to-day analysis of laboratory samples by wet chemistry and instrumentation methods. You are familiar with the operation of inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) and alpha counting spectrometer.
In this role, you will:
- participate in quality assurance and quality control activities within the lab operation and assist with corrective and preventative action planning and implementation.
- perform maintenance of analytical equipment in the lab, mill, and mine, and provide coverage to other sites’ satellite lab as needed.
Required:
- Chemical technology diploma
- Two to three years relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of chemical laboratory principles and procedures
- You are a team player with the ability to work independently with safety as a core value
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs
- Willing to work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Experience with an x-ray fluorescence spectrometer
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience as a member of Emergency Response or Mine Rescue Team

The Rabbit Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
