Position and Responsibilities
As part of the health physics team responsible for site radiation protection internal dosimetry monitoring programs, you will operate the health physics mobile laboratory, coordinate scheduling and perform lung count internal dosimetry monitoring of employees to ensure the site meets the requirements of Cameco’s health physics programs and the guidelines specified by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.
Within this mobile facility, there is a requirement to work off site approximately 8 weeks per year, with primary responsibilities to the Port Hope and Blind River sites.
Education and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

- Chemical technician or technologist diploma or equivalent
- Possess a strong understanding of PC based computer software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to details
- Problem solving skills
- Self-motivated
Assets:
