Position and Responsibilities
You will perform general labour for the repackaging of legacy inventories of drummed waste materials, complete inventory records and load shipments to a disposal facility. These activities are completed in a manner that complies with environmental regulations and good housekeeping practices.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent
- G class vehicle license
- Forklift experience
- Experienced using cutting torches, pressure washers, scissor lifts
- Demonstrated work performance that is consistent with a team environment
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environment
- Clear backgroung check
Assets:
- Familiar with decontamination procedures
- Familiar with transport of dangerous goods
