THE ROLE:
The role of the Junior Geologist works collaboratively with Denison’s Saskatoon-based exploration team in advancing our
portfolio of uranium projects in the Athabasca Basin, including activities on Denison’s flagship Wheeler River exploration claims
along with other properties. The Junior Geologist will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and modelling field and
subsurface data to advance Denison’s interests in the Athabasca Basin.
This role is a fulltime position involving a mix of work being performed out of Denison's regional office in Saskatoon and at
various field exploration sites situated in the Northern Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan. The successful candidate must be
willing and able to travel for extended durations to meet program and project demands and will be responsible for arranging
their own travel to a designated pick-up point en-route from Denison’s warehouse in Saskatoon to the Project site. Denison
will provide board and lodging while at the Project site and all required PPE outside of safety boots. To be considered for this
role, applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
The Junior Geologist bringsstrong technical skills and progressive experience in all aspects of the mining life cycle, with direct
experience related to exploration and development activities and hands-on experience overseeing drilling operations. As a
highly motivated, safety oriented, project-driven geologist, the Junior Geologist has solid organizational skills, a strong sense of
responsibility and demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with others to achieve results. Additional qualifications and
attributes include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution is
required.
- Applicable work experience in mineral exploration or mining, preferably uranium, is ideal.
- Experience with GIS applications and 3D modelling packages (Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac, etc.) is preferred, along with
office productivity software, including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP, accompanied by a willingness to learn and use
other technologies and software as required.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple
responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills that support safe, collaborative and inclusive relationships with peers and contractors
within a remote workplace environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate, persuade and influence others.
- Adept at managing performance against key milestone deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with a continuous improvement mindset to adapt in a dynamic and changing
environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically to effectively evaluate and resolve complex problems.
