Overview
With more than 350 employees and over 75 years of experience, the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is Canada’s second largest research and technology organization. We help clients from across the world solve complex technology challenges, seize new opportunities, and reduce their environmental impact. SRC’s Nuclear division is pursuing the licensing and operation of an eVinci™ microreactor – a first-of-a-kind project in Saskatchewan. As the primary organization responsible for microreactor development in province, SRC is working to accelerate adoption of microreactors safely and consistently to support local industries and communities.
The Saskatchewan Research Council’s Nuclear Division is seeking an Integrated Management Systems Specialist to develop and implement a Nuclear Management System that integrates regulatory requirements, a quality management system and document control processes. This role will also ensure a graded approach relevant to operators of microreactors.
Accountabilities
· Develop and deliver plans for the implementation of the integrated nuclear management system
· Schedule implementation and related user training to align with the phases of SRC projects
· Ensure the system policies and procedures meet both nuclear quality standards and SRC requirements
· Set annual objectives, monitor progress and recommend corrective actions or improvement opportunities to the management systems.
· Lead the implementation of the documentation control system and related software.
· Train users in document control procedures and import control regulations.
· Ensure compliance to management and quality system requirements and procedures.
· Work with the Nuclear Division, SRC Nuclear Inc. and external organizations to advance all management systems

Requirements
- 10 years experience with quality and management systems, preferably in the nuclear industry
- Post-secondary education and relevant professional designation(s)
- Auditing experience is considered an asset
- Understanding of the Nuclear Industry quality standard requirements, N286, N299.1 and ISO 9001
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft SharePoint
The chosen candidate will be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
