Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. The Role
Reporting to the general supervisor, maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a team of Instrumentation maintenance tradespeople.
In this role, you will:
- will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance tradespeople in a way that sustainably maximizes the use of assets
- lead a team of Instrumentation techs that will be responsible for installation, calibration, trouble shooting and maintenance of Instrumentation devices
- ensure processes are followed, and work with your team to make improvements as opportunities are identified
- coach and develop a team of problem solvers.
Required:
- Valid interprovincial journeyperson or an Instrumentation Technologist diploma
- 10 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Previous supervisory experience
- A Saskatchewan supervisory certificate
- First aid certificate
- Previous working experience using SAP
