Security Information Coordinator - Candu Security Services

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Candu Security Services, the Security Information Coordinator team member is responsible for performing a variety of complex clerical tasks requiring a thorough knowledge of company and/or project policies and procedures. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising judgment and initiative.
This role will be based in Mississauga, ON – Part Time (up to 3 days/week – On Site)
Your role within the team:
Under minimal supervision and with confidentiality and diplomacy, accountable to perform and manage a variety of complex and demanding office support duties ensuring smooth and successful operation of the department. Including, as applicable:
- Anticipate and effectively work with conflicting and changing priorities, ensuring that deadlines, priorities and objectives are met.
- Discreetly handle confidential documents including employee personnel and information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Organizing and managing the flow of information within the department including maintaining documentation and organizing files electronically.
- Drafting, editing, and preparing various documents, reports, and presentations.
- Assisting with the use of office equipment and software.
- Maintain/upload project files in document control systems.
- Undertake special assignments as required or as assigned by Management.
- Ability to obtain government of Canada Level II Secret Security Clearance status.
- Serve as ACSO (Alternate Company Security Officer) in relation to the Designated Organization Screening and Facility Security Clearance with the government of Canada.
