Role & Responsibilities
- Proven/demonstrated strong project management skills - including planning, budgeting, resourcing, contract management, and progress reporting for an executive and stakeholder/regulator audience
- Demonstrated application of the nine project management knowledge areas (i.e., Scope; Cost; Time; QA; Communications; Human Resources; Risk; Procurement; Integration)
- History of excellent team-building skills as well as the ability to affect outcomes of critical and high-value situations
- Proven success as a leader, coach, and mentor.

Qualifications / Requirements
- A degree or diploma from a college/university relevant to project management, engineering, or equivalent, and a track record for leading large-scale, high value/high complexity projects from investigation, definition, budgeting, and design through to completion of construction - preferably in a construction and/or radiological remediation environment.
- More than 10 years of project experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in remediation and/or construction.
- Has managed multi-million-dollar budgets through large and complex multi-stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated experience in all the typical phases of a project lifecycle (e.g., Concept Development, Project Definition, Detailed Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Decommissioning). In summary, the Project Manager must have education and experience that meets one of the following:
- With a relevant post-secondary university degree, the incumbent must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience, a minimum of 5 years of leadership / management experience, and a minimum of 5years of experience of as the Project Manager of a construction, remediation (or related) project.
- With a relevant post-secondary college diploma, the incumbent must have a minimum of 12 years of related experience, a minimum of 5 years of leadership / management experience, and a minimum of 5 years of experience of as the Project Manager of a construction, remediation (or related) project.
- Without a formal post-secondary degree or diploma, the incumbent must have a minimum of 15 years of related experience, a minimum of 5 years of leadership / management experience, and a minimum of 5 years of experience of as the Project Manager of a construction, remediation (or related) project.
